APL: Undergraduate industry scholarship

The undergraduate industry scholarships are targeted towards students conducting their undergraduate degrees. Students are funded to undertake a placement at a piggery for a minimum of 2 weeks (up to a maximum of 8 weeks) to gain a greater understanding of the pork industry and to gain hands on experience with the production system of the pork industry.
The aim of the award is to recognise high calibre undergraduate students and foster their interest in pursuing a career in the pork industry. Scholarships are provided of up to $500 per week of piggery placement and a final report on the student’s experiences is submitted to APL.
