The Almond Board of Australia is continuing to facilitate training in extension and facilitation. In 2024, there was a two day workshop held in Loxton on March 7th and 8th.
Facilitator Jeanette Long (Ag Consulting Co) defined extension and facilitation, clarifed extension purpose, understanding target audience, stages of change, how we learn, facilitation tips and tools, questioning and listening effectively and creating engaging events.
The Almond Board of Australia strives to provide university students studying agriculture an opportunity to attend the training free of charge. Students need to fund their accommodation and travel. Contact the Almond Board below for more details.
